TBG just purchased the Miller Agency Building located on booming Woodward Ave., just north of 11-mile Rd., in the heart of metro Detroit. The larger space will enable the search firm to house more recruiters, which means greater opportunities for candidates to be matched with prospective employers.
“The economy is rebounding and we are seeing an increase in job opportunities in the construction, oil and gas, and the manufacturing industries,” says Brian Binke, president/CEO of TBG. “We had our highest billing year ever in 2012, and we quickly realized that we needed to hire more recruiters in order to meet growing demand and to be more responsive to employer search requests. The new building provides us with the space we need to conduct candidate interviews, prep sessions and most importantly, to bring more recruiters onboard.”
The Woodward Ave. building is currently being renovated, but is expected to be open to the public in December. Currently operating with a team of five recruiters, the new building provides space for TBG to triple its number of recruiters and still house executive and administrative staff. Binke adds, “We are very excited to be moving into a more vibrant part of town where we will be in closer proximately to major corporations in the area. This provides an even greater opportunity for us to connect more employers with top candidates.”
