for Outstanding Achievements and the Winners Reflect on Industry Trends
22nd May 2007 – MRINetwork Worldwide, one of the world’s largest executive search organisations, has awarded its Network Members for their outstanding achievements over the last 12 months, during its recent annual conference. Members from across the UK and Continental European Network were recognised during the gala awards dinner in Benalmádena, with many of the UK Network Members coming up trumps. The winners, reflecting on their own experiences, give an interesting insight into trends across the various industries within which they operate.
Sandra Hill of MRINetwork The Hill Group based in Manchester, received Billing Manager of the year for successes in her desk specialty of manufacturing, predominately in the automotive and aerospace sectors.
“The biggest growth area has really been in supplying key individuals who can facilitate a change in companies either from a lean manufacturing viewpoint, an introduction of new products or engineering systems” says Sandra Hill, Managing Director of MRINetwork The Hill Group. “Also where a market has seen a substantial upturn, such as aerospace, there is a need to develop an infrastructure, in terms of programme management, to support the customers needs”
MRINetwork Mosaic Search & Selection, owned by Tim and Lynne Dare, was awarded UK office of the year for their Cheltenham based firm which billed more than any other office. Their specialisms include; media, publishing, radio, call centre management, business outsourcing and banking.
“We have a range of clients from small and medium size firms to FTSE 250 companies, including a number of educational publishers and national magazine and newspaper groups. All the sectors we operate in have seen reasonable growth” says Tim Dare, Managing Director of MRINetwork Mosaic Search & Selection. “I would say that the economy remains strong and that we have benefited from those customer service elements of call centres, in the financial & banking industry, that have decided to return their operations to the UK. While in the meantime, the back office and administration elements continue to go offshore.”
Members from Continental Europe also gained recognition, most notably Luis Alvarez (Madrid, Spain) who was awarded both number one office in Europe for the third year running and the award for the fastest growing office in the network; and Klaus Hackmann (Hamburg, Germany) who received recognition for his services to the network.
