for Outstanding Achievements and the Winners Reflect on Industry Trends
May 2007 – MRINetwork Worldwide, one of the world’s largest executive search organisations, has awarded its Network Members for their outstanding achievements over the last 12 months, during its recent annual conference. Members from across the European Network were recognised during the gala awards dinner in Benalmádena, with several of the German Network Members receiving awards. The winners, reflecting on their own experiences, give an interesting insight into trends across the various industries within which they operate.
MRINetwork Hackmann Search, owned by Klaus Hackmann in Hamburg, works with well-known clients in the international paints and coatings business, as well as clients within the water industry and suppliers to both the automotive and aviation sectors. Alongside his own business, Klaus is also the MRINetwork Regional Representative for continental Europe, advising over 50 individual offices on their operations. He received an award for being one of the top billing offices and also a second award for his services to MRINetwork as a whole.
“Without a doubt, the industries where I am currently seeing the most growth are within the automotive arena and the paints and coatings sectors, the increase in these two divisions is really quite disproportionate to the other sectors in which I operate,” says Klaus Hackmann, Managing Director of MRINetwork Hackmann Search. “Additionally, 35% of my business is generated by client and candidate leads passed on to me from other offices within MRINetwork, most notably from Network Members in China, the USA, the UK and France, which demonstrates the true international make-up of these industries”
Robert Weichsberger, a partner of MRINetwork MPW Executive Search collected an award for being one of the top billing offices in Europe. His clients are among some of the world’s largest fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies and he has been sourcing candidates for them since 2001. His Munich based office was also awarded membership to "WHO is WHO in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland 2007" this year.
"There is currently significant growth in the consumer goods sector, that’s where I’m seeing a huge demand for highly qualified candidates" says Robert Weichsberger, MRINetwork MRW Executive Search. “in addition to this, there is also a marked increase in recruitment within health & wellness sector”.
Other Members from Europe also gained recognition, most notably Luis Alvarez, Managing Director of MCR International in Spain, who was awarded both number one office in Europe for the third year running and the award for the fastest growing office in the network. His Madrid based business specialising in careers for executives, professionals and technical specialists within the pharmaceutical, construction and telecoms industries across Europe.
