MRINetwork Worldwide Awards Members for Outstanding Achievements
27 May 2008 – MRINetwork Worldwide, one of the world’s largest executive search organisations, has awarded its Network Members for their outstanding achievements over the last 12 months, during its recent annual conference. Members from across the UK and Continental European Network were recognised during the gala awards dinner in Athens, with Network Members from Spain, Germany and the UK coming up trumps. The winners, reflecting on their own experiences, give an interesting insight into trends across the various industries within which they operate.
Luis Alvarez, Owner of MRINetwork MCR International, based in Madrid, won both the “Office of the Year” award for achieving the highest revenue and also the award for the office with the largest percentage growth within the network. His team specialises in careers for executives, professionals and technical specialists within the pharmaceutical, medical devices, biotech, construction and telecoms industries.
“We are very proud to be not only the number one office in Europe for the third year running, but also the number one office worldwide (outside the U.S),” says Luis Alvarez, Director of MRINetwork MCR International. “Our success is built on core knowledge and relationships built up within the industries, a consequence of the hard and proactive work of our team of consultants, and our ability to provide both clients and candidates with exactly what they are looking for.”
Robert Weichsberger, a partner of MRINetwork MPW Executive Search, collected the award for winning the “Owner/Manager of the Year”, being the top billing owner in Europe. His clients are among some of the world’s largest fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies and he has been sourcing candidates for them since 2001. His Munich based office was also awarded membership to "WHO is WHO in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland 2007" last year.
"There is currently significant growth in the consumer goods sector, that’s where I’m seeing a huge demand for highly qualified candidates" says Robert Weichsberger, MRINetwork MPW Executive Search. “in addition to this, there is also a marked increase in recruitment within health and wellness sector”.
An award is also presented to the Network Member who exemplifies the spirit of the MRINetwork Worldwide group and Network Members nominate this winner themselves. The award considers selfless giving to others, a contribution that has an impact on many, rather than just oneself and above all, is an opportunity for grateful colleagues to simply say “thank you”.
