Depending on your personal aspirations, a number of career paths are open for you, whether you’re a big biller aspiring to be the recognised specialist in your field or a future manager.
The first possible career path focuses around building your own "desk" and becoming a specialist in your chosen field of recruitment – from FMCG Sales and Marketing, to Customer Relationship Management, Logistics or Actuarial. You will constantly expand your desk, bringing on bigger clients and increasing your reach. As your pipeline increases so will your business, your recognition and your billings. You will become a Senior Consultant, working in a team with Project Coordinators (Researchers) who help you to research and source candidates.
Alternatively, you may decide that your future is as a Manager, responsible for supporting a team of Consultants, acting as a mentor and role model. You will advise and manage them in order to increase productivity and revenue. You will be responsible for a target held by the whole team. A Managing Consultant will be responsible for helping to train junior consultants and recruit new team members.
As a Senior or Managing Consultant you may find yourself in a position to participate in equity within the business. As a franchised member of the network, each office is an independent business whose future depends on you. The value you bring to the business will be directly rewarded.
