Israel-based Celebros Incorporated has set up a new stateside office in Teaneck, New Jersey.

The high tech company, which specializes in search-related solutions for over 400 ecommerce global stores, said the new North American headquarters will be responsible for sales, marketing and customer support for the U.S. and Canadian markets.

Jeffery Tower, manager of the Celebros's North American operations, told the Teaneck Suburbanite that the company expects to increase its workforce in the near future.

"We anticipate growth and expansion within the company that we hope will translate into greater business and hiring opportunities," Tower added. "Most importantly, we look forward to contributing to the overall economic health of the Teaneck community."

Meanwhile in Massachusetts, a Rhode Island-based computer software company has announced plans to open a new Boston office.

The Boston Business Journal reports that Vertical Performance Partners wants to expand its medical corporate training and healthcare content services into applications for the untapped iPad market.

Chief executive officer Carl Wooten told the news agency that the company plans to open the Boston office starting with two to three developers, but hopes to hire more people by the end of the year.
