The Irish Examiner reports that call centers have been a bright spot for the national economy, as these companies increased their staffs by 14 percent over the past year. Future expansion in the Irish call center sector could take place if more businesses and employment seekers participate in job fairs.
“Ireland is recognized as one of the best locations in the world for contact centers so it’s important that we promote the sector,” Dorothy O’Byrne, managing director of an international call center industry association, told the news source.
