I met Carla over 15 years ago before she started work at Raychem. We hired her into a distribution sales and management role and as time went on she not only managed our entire global channel sales but later was a critical leader in managing distribution and channel sales for Tyco Electronics. Carla was always diplomatic, yet firm, professional, yet easy and fun to be with, determined, but with a huge heart to listen and help those that needed more guidance. There are many things that are first class with Carla, but one trait of hers stands as a "best I have ever seen" and that is her ability to network with people at all levels. Carla knew people, their families, their interests and their ambitions. If I had 10% of her ability to network I would have twice the success I have enjoyed. Truly an amazing skill level in a genuine, warm and professional person. Insert testimonial here and here and here.

Carla is one of the most rounded sales professionals I have worked with. In particular she has a tremendous executive relationship skillset. Her personality endears her to colleagues and allows her bandwith to be a significant positive influencer on team behaviours and initiatives. This combination made her an invaluable networking resource for us. She's also a fun person to have on the team and a pleasure to work with.

Carla and I have worked together in a variety of capacities. She was always respected and gave us valuable honest feedback. She was viewed as a leader and great under fire. She worked with others and was a team player who understood the bigger picture. I consider her an important friend and give her my highest recommendation.

In October I was laid off due to an acquisition, which in turn started my job search. I did all the things one should do such as speaking to people your close with, increase your network on LinkedIn and create dialog with recruiters all with mixed results. One of my dialogs with someone in the industry who himself had been laid off led me to Carla. I soon discovered after hearing her name time and time again that she has a fantastic reputation in the Electronics industry. In February she posted a role that really peaked my interest and in fact was a job I had always coveted. I immediately reached out to her and started a dialog after which she felt I would make a strong candidate. From that point forward I discovered what is meant to work with a professional recruiter. Carla was very communicative throughout the process offering tips and suggestions along the way. During a job search the waiting and lack of feedback is the most difficult thing, but Carla’s style and dedication to detail really helped maintain that dialog between the prospective employer and myself. At one point I discovered a similar opportunity that she had no connection to and when I bounced it offer her she offered advice and suggested I put my name in the hat even if that meant she could lose me for the role she was recruiting for. I received an offer from her client in May 2017, which I thankfully accepted. I’m very grateful for meeting Carla and very much appreciate all that she did for me. I would highly recommend JJM Search if you are out of work and connected to the Electronics industry! Ask for Carla!!
