I believe in specialization and not generalization. I believe that in order for a recruiting organization to effectively satisfy the diverse needs of both our clients and our candidates we must focus our efforts on industries in which we have experience and expertise. As a result, I keep my focus on the industry that I have devoted most of my life to: the environmental/energy industry. I have over 25 years of experience hiring, placing and managing personnel in the environmental industry. I put that experience and expertise to work for the good of both our clients and candidates.
I believe my role is more than just placing people in jobs. I see myself as a consultant working with both our clients and candidates to ensure I understand their needs and the benefits each bring to the other. I strive to make the process from search to hire as simple and professional as possible for both our clients and the candidates we bring. Because I specialize in an industry I have spent the majority of my career in, I understand our client’s needs and the qualifications of our candidates. As a result, I minimize the time our client’s waste looking at unqualified resumes and our candidate’s time pursuing positions they do not qualify for. I handle every detail of the interview process from setting it up to handling all the follow-up necessary to make sure it occurs smoothly. Once an offer is made I make sure all the details are satisfactory to client and candidate and manage the process in the interim from offer to start date including conducting the reference checks, assisting with relocation including providing any demographic information on the relocation city, assistance in securing realtors and movers, and providing any other assistance the client or candidate may need for a successful placement. Finally, I conduct periodic post hire checkups to make sure both client and candidate are satisfied with their decision.
In keeping with my philosophy of specialization, I also specialize in the level of placements I focus on. While my main goal is to satisfy our client’s needs at all levels, the bulk of my efforts are aimed at pursuing and placing candidates in the more senior level positions focusing on Vice Presidents, senior managers and senior staff positions.
For our clients whose need is developing/expanding a strong field sales organization, my experience in this field enables me to find and recruit the talent that truly fits our clients needs. Our clients range from the start-up organization to well established international companies – each with its own unique needs and challenges.
From the initial request for a search assignment from our clients to the final placement of a candidate in a new career, I strive to make the process as professional and successful as I possibly can by bringing all of the experience and expertise I have garnered over my 25+ years in the environmental industry to work for the benefit of my clients and candidates.
